Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Teddy App Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) governing your use of the GlowKit app (the “App”) and related services. By downloading or using GlowKit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to use GlowKit. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The service

GlowKit lets you scan a selfie to receive a GlowScore, a breakdown across five visible skin signals (clarity, hydration, texture, even tone, and radiance), an explainable AM/PM/weekly routine, and a progress trend over time. Analysis is performed using cloud AI, and cloud photo sync can store prepared scan photos privately for your account history as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Non-medical disclaimer

GlowKit is intended for general wellness, grooming, and cosmetic purposes only. Scores, signals, routines, and other outputs are informational estimates based on visible appearance and may not be accurate for every person or lighting condition. GlowKit does not provide medical, dermatological, or professional advice and is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you saw in the App.

4. Your responsibilities

• Use GlowKit only for yourself, or for someone who has consented to being scanned.
• Do not upload images of other people without their permission.
• Keep your device and App Store account secure.
• Provide accurate information when contacting support.

5. Subscriptions & billing

GlowKit offers a free tier and an optional Pro upgrade. Pro is available as:

• Weekly — US$4.99 per week.
• Annual — US$29.99 per year, including a 3-day free trial.
• Lifetime — US$59.99, a one-time purchase.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may vary by region and over time. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through your Apple App Store account. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

6. Free trial

The annual plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid annual subscription and your account is charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial. Trial availability and eligibility are determined by Apple.

7. Restore & cancellation

You can restore previous purchases on any device signed in to the same Apple ID using the “Restore purchases” option in the App. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then. The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring purchase.

8. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple, and refund requests are handled under Apple's policies. We are generally unable to issue refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, contact Apple Support, and feel free to email us at turhan@teddyapplabs.com so we can help where we can.

9. Intellectual property

GlowKit, including its software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Teddy App Labs and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own purposes in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of photos you provide; you grant us only the limited, temporary rights needed to analyse them and deliver your results.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law.
• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent purposes.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, its servers, or its security.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its outputs without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teddy App Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

13. Changes & termination

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue features. You may stop using the App at any time; we may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Teddy App Labs' principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
